Unrelated, but having an xp booster in a premium pass of a single player game makes no sense

Like, how do I know how the progression should be? Is these 50%+ just a cheat so I can play on easy mode, since i will be op for every fight, is it the normal diff and im playing on hard if I dont buy and use it?

Its like playing a game like Quasimorph (An extraction turn based top down tactical shooter) and having a dlc for „enemies will now drop 50% better loot“. You just ask yourself: Am I playing on easy mode with it on, or am I playing hardcore with it off

I actively avoid stuff like that because of the reasons you mentioned and fear of not being able to disable it if it makes the game more unenjoyable.

Gonna be honest, I haven’t bought a physical copy of a game since I stopped playing console games almost a decade ago.

However, I do miss the gigantic obnoxious boxes that pc games used to come in back in the 90s and such. The maps of the worlds of Might&Magic were some of my favorite posters. I’d have nowhere to store them these days, but I miss it.

Gamedev here, I’ll try to get real physical copy for my future games (especially for PC), with even the standard copies at least coming with some manual and stickers. Don’t know if I will be able to get some more cheap tats on more deluxe copies.
