Please don’t directly link to X/Twitter, and instead use XCancel, an alternative front end. You can directly replace X with Xcancel in any URL from there and it will work.
Uhh, hey. So, uh, now that XCancel is disabled until further notice, what alternative should I use for the time being, since I, nor any other member of this community, is allowed to link directly to X/Twitter? ,:\
You only have to provide the name of the artist and/or source to find them, so you can simply say it’s by username if there genuinely is no other place they exist aside from X/Twitter. I find that pretty disappointing from the artist though, like, they don’t even have another account aside from the Nazi site?
If you don’t link there it’s fine, but I’d consider artists who can do the bare minimum in that regard. Doesn’t need to be a link to the exact image, could be a personal website, a caard, or some other account they post art on.
I would consider a link redirect the same as linking, assuming its sole purpose is to send you to X/Twitter. That is identical behavior to an X/Twitter link. As mentioned, a username is sufficient if that is the only source available. You could also just continue to link to xcancel despite it not working now, because I wouldn’t be surprised if it eventually comes back up.
