A bored individual with too much yet not enough time on his hands.
I don’t usually use e621 that much aside from checking a few niche tags, although I made an account specifically to be able to blacklist certain tags. This app seems pretty cool, thanks. I already sank a few hours into a rabbit hole that is e621, but much more seamless and mobile friendly.
Also, I didn’t know about Thunder. I use Jerboa and recently checked out Voyager, both seem pretty nice.
How in the world haven’t I noticed boobs? Sorry, fixed.
I don’t think anything can be done here. It’s just a result of the platform’s limitations. If anything, it’s much easier here, because adding proper tags in booru galleries is a real hassle.
Also, the instance requires a proper artist attribution, so, again, this can’t be helped. And the process of figuring out artists’ names is pretty much the same on all platforms, galleries just have it easier thanks to aliases.
Actually, there is one change in tagging system that is overdue: sexes. I described the situation in more detail in this comment.
Thanks! Although I’ve been really slacking this week, and not due to absence of nice artworks in my backlog. The process of posting turned out to be more involved than I thought at first. I mean, it goes like this:
So, yeah, a lot of effort for just one post. Would be much more comfortable using a PC, but I don’t use it often, and then there’s a door to my uncle’s room right behind my back, so I’d rather not have porn on my monitor when he could exit his room at any moment (I don’t have the best living conditions). That leaves the phone, and if you tried multitasking on your phone, you know how cumbersome it is, and I don’t want to post just one image at a time, it’s more convenient to me to post everything that comes up on a current page of my faves list.
I do plan to keep posting, it just might take a couple more days before I get to it.
I haven’t even started looking. Majority of what I post is what I happen to have around, the rest is what I stumble upon.
I’m still going through my faves on FA. Then there’re IB and Pixiv (there also used to be Twitter, but I purged NSFW stuff from there as it’s more public). And then I’ll start looking.
Well, I’m just a poster, so it’s not up to me to decide what the community’s rules should be. I’m just raising my concern. Personally, I don’t really care how those mixed sexes are tagged, as long as they are tagged in cases where simple M or F doesn’t apply, so I’ll leave the specifics of multitude of genders to people more versed in the topic than me.
This image made me realize that the current tagging system doesn’t include transgender characters. At the very least there should also be dickgirls (western futas), cuntboys and herms (eastern futas), and e621 suggests it’s even more complicated.
You should probably make this sticky (no pun intended), maybe that way some lurkers would be more willing to share their favorite pieces. I mean, it worked for me.
Not sure if I should tag it as straight or bi. Technically, their tongues aren’t touching in the picture (although pretty sure it would be implied), so I’m going with [S] tag.
No, on my private instance. I put the link in my profile. Although my instance is just to play around with Lemmy and serve as an aggregator for communities I might decide to follow.
Just got lucky, considering it’s only my second post here. My collection of Pokémon smut is cherry-picked, but quality varies a lot. Just wait for other cross-posts from my Glaceon-themed community I recently created, pretty sure there will be some downvotes.
Nope, tags aren’t clickable unless you make them, which you can’t since there’s not tagging system to filter posts by tags.
The official approach to tags is to just use search, so using #tags is effectively the same as using [tags]. Kinda sucks since typos are a thing, and community-defined flairs wouldn’t have that drawback, and it would also make them unified…
I guess, currently the only way to tag something is to specify a [tag] from a list of recommended tags provided by community… Kinda cumbersome to apply tags retroactively.
Using #tags within the body doesn’t work. Would it work if defined separately?
#tags #test
I don’t think a purely Pokémon-themed community is a place for Digimon. This is a specific niche for a specific fandom. Allowing Digimon would create a precedent to possibly allow other collectible monster creatures, say, Temtems or Telefang beasts, because why would Digimon get preferential treatment over other franchises?
There could be a community for non-Pokémon-related monsters or their fans could use catch-all furry communities. But a community for Pokémon-related fanart should only be for Pokémon.

Wait, I just noticed… This community got resurrected?
