I guess that always depends on what the goal is. Suspension bondage like this always feels a bit like art. Sure, you can just do whatever, but if you go through all the effort to suspend someone (especially outside, where you need to carry all your equipment), it’d feel wrong not to make it look nice. But others see it differently and just want to get tied up, or just want to tie someone up, and that’s cool, too. It just needs to be communicated.
